Circulation
A book lending system with a clear approval flow, and stock that is always right.
Desk borrowing and returns
BasicStaff lend and take back books in a few clicks. Stock changes together with the loan record, so the count is never off, even if two staff hand out the last copy at the same moment.
Online borrow and return requests
BasicMembers request a book from their phone and get a short code to show at the desk, where staff approve or reject it. Requests expire after 24 hours and a member can have up to three pending.
Due-date and overdue reminders
BasicEvery night PixaLibs emails members whose books are due soon or overdue, once per loan per day, in the member's own language.
Automatic late fines
ProfessionalReturns are checked against the due date and the fine is calculated for you: days late times the daily rate your admin sets. No calculator, no arguments at the desk.
Full borrowing history
ProfessionalLook up every loan ever made, filtered by member, book, status, or date range, to answer "who had this book last?" in seconds.
Past loan entry

A collection that is easy to add to, easy to find in, and open to the public when you want it to be.
Book management
BasicAdd and edit titles with author, publisher, ISBN, category, stock, and cover image. Duplicate ISBNs are caught, and a book on loan cannot be deleted by accident.
Categories
BasicOrganize the collection into categories so a large library browses as easily as a small one. A category still in use is protected from deletion.
Fast book search
BasicFind any book by title, author, or category. Members see whether a book is available, never the internal stock count.
Shelf locations
ProfessionalRecord the shelf, floor, or row of each book, and search by it, so staff and members walk straight to the right place.
Book QR codes
ProfessionalEach book gets its own QR code to print and stick on, so staff scan instead of typing.
ISBN auto-fill
EnterpriseType an ISBN and PixaLibs fills in the title, author, publisher, and cover for you, so cataloguing a new book takes seconds. Wider book coverage needs an ISBN data plan, billed separately.
Public online catalogue (OPAC)
EnterpriseA public page where anyone can search your collection and see what is available, without signing in. It shows availability only, never stock numbers.

Self-registration
BasicNew members sign up themselves with name, phone, and address, and confirm their email, so the desk stops typing forms.

BasicMembers see their own active loans, history, overdue books, and outstanding fines, and reset a forgotten password by email.
Profile changes with approval
BasicMembers ask to change their name, email, phone, address, or photo, and an admin approves or rejects it, so records stay accurate.
Membership periods and renewal
BasicOptionally give memberships an expiry date, free or paid. An expired member cannot borrow until they renew at the cashier or online; returns always stay open.
