Corporate and Sustainability Portal for a Mining Company, Built with Cipta Dua Saudara
The MHU Coal corporate portal presents mining operations through sustainability rather than production figures. It covers the company summary, environmental work, operations and logistics, renewable energy, conservation, cultural heritage, post-mining planning and community development. Javapixa built it with Cipta Dua Saudara: the UI/UX design, a Next.js frontend, and a CMS on a Go backend.
The Problem
An industrial organisation usually has to communicate several things at once: production, environment, community, cultural heritage and post-mining planning. The hard part was not writing the content but ordering it, so the site did not turn into a brochure archive nobody reads. The communications team also had to be able to publish without asking a developer every time.
The site is structured by theme rather than by org chart, each section opening with a large visual panel and a short message so a reader can scan before committing. The frontend is Next.js, with a CMS on a Go backend so the communications team can update content, reports and video profiles themselves. The UI/UX work came first, so the hierarchy was settled before any code was written.

Theme-Led Structure
Sections follow themes such as environment, operations, renewable energy, cultural heritage and post-mining planning, rather than the shape of the company's org chart.

UI/UX and Information Hierarchy
Mapped everything that had to be communicated, then organised it into themes with a clear hierarchy in Figma before development began.
Frontend and CMS
Built the Next.js frontend and the CMS on a Go backend, including the content structure that lets the communications team publish on their own.
Content and Launch
Loaded the initial content, prepared the video profiles, tested across devices, and launched alongside Cipta Dua Saudara.
